Traditional Spinal Adjustments (Diversified, Gonstead, Thomspon, Upper Cervical)
Traditional adjustments require light, manual force to align the individual vertebrae. This helps restore normal motion to the spine relieving pressure off the spinal nerves or restrictions of spinal motion.
Low Force Spinal Adjustments (Activator, SOT)
These methods use a lighter force to restore normal spinal function commonly used on pediatric and geriatric patients along with those who prefer these forms of treatment.

Prenatal Chiropractor

Prenatal chiropractic care is completely safe for pregnant women. Alternative adjusting methods are used to ensure safety of the mother and child.

Webster Technique
Dr. Larry Webster discovered this technique as a safe means to restore the pelvis’balance and function especially during pregnancy. This specific sacrum analysis is used to determine sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction or subluxation. Sacral misalignments are very common in pregnancy due to postural changes, weight gain, and hormonal changes. It is proposed that sacral misalignments can cause tightening and torsion of specific pelvic ligaments and muscles. The tense muscles produce an aberrant effect on the uterus that can cause abnormal baby positioning or breeching. These misalignments are also a major cause of low back pain during pregnancy. The goal of treatment is to remove the sacral misalignments/ subluxations and remove the tension and torsion on the pelvis. This allows for the fetus to have an optimal position for birth. Due to the overall effect of chiropractic treatment, pregnant mothers may have a significant benefit by having their spine’s checked regularly throughout the pregnancy. It is shown to be safe and to make the birthing process easier on the mother and baby.
**Symptoms of sacral/pelvic misalignment are low back pain, sciatic neuralgia (sciatica), and fetal malpositioning.

Pediatric Chiropractor

Millions of children are treated with pediatric chiropractic care every year. A child at any age can benefit from care. Pediatric chiropractic treatment is much different than that for adults. The adjustments are much softer and gentler and commonly require no more than fingertip pressure. The adjustments are comfortable, completely safe, and most infants enjoy it. The most common traumatic experience of any person is the birthing process. Even under the best conditions, the passage through the birth canal can cause misalignments in the spines of a newborn. When delivery complications occur and excessive force, forceps, and suction cups are used to extract the newborn, it is easy to see the possibility of misalignments occurring especially in the neck region of the spine.Commonly treated pediatric conditions include:

  • Ear infections
  • Ear aches
  • Neck pain
  • Torticollis (holding head to one side)
  • Indigestion/Reflux
  • Fussiness
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Asthma
  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Bed wetting
  • Constipation
  • Mid and low back pain

Lumbar Flexion/Distration
This is a modality that decompresses and stretches the lumbar spine. It is commonly used in patients with disc involvement, sciatica symptoms or restriction of normal motion within the lower back.
Cervical Traction
A type of manual traction that decompresses and stretches the cervical spine. It is commonly done with patients that have neck pain that radiates into their shoulders or arms.
Miyodac Soft Tissue Technique "Graston"

Muscle weakness and lack of tissue elasticity are major causes of chronic pain and disability in patients, but with the MiyoDac Instruments and Techniques, these conditions can now be treated conservatively and effectively. The key to MiyoDac's success is that it's therapeutic techniques can aid in the body's natural healing process. It does this by being able to:

  • Initiate an inflammatory process
  • Break down scar tissue
  • Redirect collagen formation
